LAYOUT AND DESIGN

My job at Center Stage Theatre involves large amounts of layout and design work. Between creating collateral for means of marketing on social media, to print media that can be widely distributed, to the creation of weekly newsletters (examples here), there is always something that needs to be eye catching that can also get the information across that is needed. I also am responsible for upkeep of Center Stage’s website which can be found here.

Since starting on my high school magazine and working myself up to be Editor-in-Chief, I have always enjoyed layout and design. I spearheaded the final processes of pulling together resources, being one of the final sets of eyes the magazine making sure the magazines were ready to send out to the publisher. In addition, in my Democratic Technologies course at Sacred Heart University, I was the Editor-in-Chief of the magazine portion of our final project, which meant putting together pages from the whole class and combining them into a cohesive work.
